BITS Instructors
Present day-long workshops to a cohort of 16 students, following designed curriculum (with some freedom for modification), on the following dates in 2009:  January 24, February 28, March 14, April 11, and April 25. This program is funded by the National Science Foundation.


Math Tutors
Provide math instruction (through Algebra I) to 9th grade students for the 2008-2009 school year. Tutoring sessions may be held in Danville, Martinsville, or Henry, Halifax, or Pittsylvania counties. Tutoring sessions will be scheduled during after school hours. Pay: $9.00 hour. High school students with dual enrollment credit or completed Advancement Placement math coursework and college students are welcome to apply.
